We recently had the opportunity to take a family trip to Italy and when I say family trip, I mean family trip. Kent and I were joined by Kassi, Brandon, Devyn, Johnny, Parker & Kaylin, as well as Kent's mom Patricia, Kent's three sisters Kerry, Kay and Kim, as well as our dear friend Kate. The 13 of flew out of Germany on the 18th of September headed for Pisa, Italy. While we were there we had a blast visiting Florence, Pisa, Livorno and my favorite the Cinque Terre region. The Cinque Terre is a rocky part of the Italian Coast just north of Tuscanny. It is comprised of 5 remote villages along the Meditteranean Sea. It is the Italy every one dreams of. With it's rockycliffs, winding roads and colorful homes it was simply breathtaking.
Kaylins favorite part of the trip was going to the art museum in Florence and seeing the statue of David. Parker and Kaylin had fun chasing pigeons in one of the small Piazza's in Florence.
On our way to the airport we stopped off and saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Woohoo! The Christiansen's our finally on blogspot! How awesome to see such historic sites, and as a family at that. I think you guys are the ideal family. Next time Kassi rolls her eyes at mom and dad, remind her that Elder Anderson is jealous of your family and would love to be in your shoes. Well, not Kassi's shoes, they might be too small and girly...
Add crandergirl.blogspot.com to your list.
It WAS a blast, wasn't it?! Thanks for thinking of me, too!
We'll have to get The Old Boy along on the next one.. he had a great time once he finally arrived! =)
See you soon!
